Clubs & Activities

24 is a fast paced math game that has students racing to make 24.  You can add, subtract, multiply, or divide!  Mrs. Downs hosts 24 Club practices before school for students in each grade level.  Students are given the opportunity to compete in a school level competition to see who will move on to the district wide competition.  

Mrs. Davis meets with students during their recess times once a week to complete additional art projects.  Pictured here are the fourth grade students that chose to join art club this year.

Students in each grade level meet once a week during their recess to rehearse with Mrs. Brooks.  Students perform during a winter concert and in the spring at the OCPS Fine Arts Fair.

Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program that inspires 3rd-5th grade girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. The program uses a fun curriculum that integrates running. 

The Girls Who Code club meets during recess and lunch time.  When we meet, we read about problem-solving with coding, brainstorm ideas about how coding can improve everyday tasks, and do coding activities.

Young Author's Club is a student-created club for aspiring authors in 5th grade who want a dedicated time to write and collaborate with other young authors.  The club meets once a month and is sponsored by Mrs. Powell.
