For the third year, our school had the honor of celebrating Veterans Day in a very special way. Students welcomed the veterans in their own families—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings—who joined us for a morning of appreciation.
Our children proudly sang patriotic songs and all branches of the military were honored. It was truly heartwarming to see students standing side-by-side with the veterans who mean so much to them.
The end of the year is always a busy time! Students and staff wrapped up the end of the year with field day, picnics, honor roll and perfect attendance celebrations, and more fun class projects.
Thank you to the Environmental Club, Mrs. Persinger, Ms. Sturgill, and the Friends of the Rappahannock for planting these new raised flower beds for our school!
